Laem Promthep — Phuket's southernmost point — is legendary for its sunsets. Every evening, tourists flock to the viewpoint above. But the best seat in the house isn't on land. It's on a private longtail boat, floating on the Andaman Sea as the sky turns gold, pink, and crimson.
Our Promthep Sunset cruise departs from Rawai Beach in the late afternoon, timing the journey so you're positioned off the southern tip of Phuket as the sun dips below the horizon. Your captain will find a calm, scenic anchorage — away from the crowds at the viewpoint — where you can swim, relax, and watch one of Thailand's most famous natural shows.
This is a fully customizable trip. Depart early for an afternoon swim before the sunset, or leave later for a pure sunset cruise. Bring drinks and snacks, or ask your captain about a picnic. The timing is yours.
