Ko Maphrao, also known as Coconut Island, sits just off Phuket's east coast near Laem Hin pier. The crossing takes approximately ten minutes, making it one of the quickest island escapes in the region. The island is low and green, with coconut palms, a modest pier and resort frontage along its shoreline.

For those seeking a more premium experience, catamaran and yacht coastal charters are available from Royal Phuket Marina, though larger vessels may need to remain offshore or use an approved pier rather than landing directly on the beach.
Some resort and beach-club facilities on Ko Maphrao — including LAKU Beach Club and Barceló Coconut Island — are privately operated. Entry to pools, restaurants, beach furniture and day-pass facilities is not included unless expressly attached to your booking.
