About This Trip
Ko Kaeo Yai is a small rocky island off the coast of Rawai in southern Phuket. The crossing takes approximately 20 minutes by longtail. The island is home to a Buddhist temple and shrine, and its landing beach is narrow and tide-dependent.
Landing depends on tide, sea conditions and local access. The captain determines whether landing is practical on the day. Do not expect unrestricted temple access, monk access, feeding animals or entering private areas. The island is a religious site and should be visited with respect.
Lennam offers standard longtail, premium longtail and small speedboat from Rawai. Chalong may be enabled only where a specific operator and vessel have an approved route. Catamaran and yacht are not enabled as standard landing options — they may appear only as a private offshore cruise or combined southern-islands route where the vessel remains offshore and a tender or approved transfer is available.
Ko Kaeo Yai is a separate destination from similarly named Ko Kaeo locations on Phuket Island itself. Keep the names distinct when booking.
